• All donations over the amount of $10.00 will be issued a receipt for income tax purposes.
  
  
• The funds will be used where they are needed most. Rest assured that this is a volunteer non-profit organization – no-one receives a salary and spending decisions are made judiciously.
  
  
• You can make a donation in honour of a Birthday, Graduation, Anniversary, Wedding, or just to say Hi! Send us an email or call 613 843-9212. A letter will be sent on your behalf extending your good wishes for all and/or any occasion.
  
  
• Please note: If your donation is intended for a particular branch, please identify it as such on the back of your cheque.

• You can donate a quilt or quilt top; click here for information.
  
  
• You can donate fabric:
  - must be washable, 100% cotton
  - may be any colour, pattern, or solid
  - may be donated as remnants, in bulk, even squares as small as 6”
  - may be flannelette, which we use on the back of our quilts to make them warm and cozy batting should be 100% cotton, either in bags or from the bolt.

This unique block was designed for us by a breast cancer survivor and all rights were given to us to help raise funds for the work we do.

The kit contains the background fabric, batik fabric for the leaf, and a paper-pieced pattern to complete a 6" block. It is available in a variety of colours from spring greens to fall reds and oranges – all the colours that a maple leaf might be throughout the seasons.

These kits sell for $10.00 (Canadian) each with the proceeds being shared as follows:

• $2.00 is donated to Breast Cancer Action – at the request of the designer

• $8.00 is used by Victoria’s Quilts Canada to provide quilt-making supplies.

The Daffodil Fairy Kit was designed by Catharina Breedyk Law in memory of her mother, Janna Helena Breedyk who passed away following her struggle with breast cancer.

Cathy, who is an award-winning quilter and designer, donated this design and all rights to Victoria’s Quilts Canada to be used to raise funds for our work.

The Daffodil Fairy Pattern and instructions are available for $20.00 with all proceeds being used to pursue our mission.

The Daffodil Fairy Kit includes the pattern, instructions and fabric to complete the wall hanging (batting and backing not included). The fabrics are hand dyed by Joan Ramsay Burn (My Kitchen Garden). The kit sells for $38.00 with all proceeds going to Victoria’s Quilts Canada.

Our lovely Victoria Doll was created by two long-standing members of Victoria’s Quilts Canada.

She would make a terrific gift for that special young lady, or special quilting friend.

The Victoria Doll sells for $10.00, with all proceeds going to Victoria’s Quilts Canada, to continue its work.

Merchandise may be purchased at events such as craft and quilt shows where the National Office of Victoria’s Quilts Canada has a display. They are also available in quilt shops in Ottawa and the surrounding area.
